Braden brings with him 20 years of experience in theatre and large events. His first few years were spent working for Palmerston North's Regent On Broadway. This is where he became a ‘jack of all trades’ learning all of the technical aspects involved with theatre cross the disciplines of audio, video, lighting, flying and technical management. Events, during his time at the Regent on Broadway, ranged from school and community events, dance schools to  community and professional theatre. Braden knows some of the best kept secrets of this venue!

In 2014 it was time for a change and a new challenge, this involved a move to New Plymouth to work for Taranaki’s premium technical supplier TSH. It is here that he refined his skills further in technical, production management, audio, video, lighting, rigging and staging. This experience covered a wide range of events from weddings, small meetings corporate events, theatre, concerts and festivals.

Braden has a massive passion for the industry and started Event Squared in 2020 to provide a unique community focused approach to events.
